Fostering positive universal human values are at the core of TELA, as they are in every aspect of our mission.
Evidence-based research on human values-based education indicates that when values are integrated in the curriculum, the development of the whole child is promoted and not simply their academic knowledge (Lovat, T., Toomey, R., Dally, K.,Clement, N. (2009), Hawkes, N. (2010).
This approach is fully integrated into TELA’s curriculum resulting in children that not only excel academically but also develop and flourish socially, emotionally, morally and spiritually. Students develop into self-reliant, caring, and responsible adults who will in turn transform their communities and their country through their inspiring leadership and integrity.
TELA Primary School which started on the 12th October 2012 takes care of the educational needs of children from ages 6 to 12 years and comprises of Primary 1 to 6.
The current number of pupils in TELA Primary School is 557 with 24 teaching staff.
