Spiritan Self Awareness Initiative (SSAI). We Are A Worldwide Non-Profit & Non Governmental Organization
...the spring of Joy is in our Heart
Who We Are
The mission of the Spiritan Self Awareness Initiative (SSAI) is to co-develop Joy Villages.
Joy Villages represent an ideal of human community centered on awakening the inherent capacity within each one of us to love and be loved and to come to know our true Self through kind services.
The first Joy Village is situated in Ebe county in Enugu State, southern Nigeria. Other Joy Villages are located at Alike, Obowu, Imo State, Ogurugu and Adani Communities in Uzo-uwani LGA, Enugu State and five other communities in Gwagwalada, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
These regions have been faced with socio-economic challenges such as extreme lack of clean drinking water, health care facilities and quality education. Over the last eleven years, SSAI’s Triple Care Mandate has begun to dramatically transform these communities and their surrounding villages into ideal villages (Joy Villages).
